"Sonic String is a music app that engages artists and listeners. We don’t just throw tracks in a room and hope someone notices them. We share them, we listen to them, we get excited about them--and when a listener connects with a song, we cultivate a relationship. That's why we do what we do, because it's about time someone realized that discovering new music isn't just a numbers game, it’s a human connection."
Sonic String wanted to keep the "dal segno" character and keep the logo black and white. They have a great line in their video that goes something like, "what does music actually give you? It gives you a pulse." From there, I looked for inspiration in heart monitor graphs, echocardiogram charts, sheet music, and sonic shock wave illustrations.
