I received my BFA in Printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institue. I fell in love with the wide variety of printmaking techniques. My work evolved into an exploration of balancing ambiguity with personal disclosure, creating what I now see as my own proverbial phrases and imagery - seemingly warning or advising the viewer, but cloaking the true meaning in allegorical symbolism.
Techniques include stone lithography, monoprints, metal engravings and etchings, moku-hanga prints, relief prints, and chine colle.
